Limited Edition – Flower Garden (2018)

March 1st, 2020

These two flower panels were designed and modelled by Geoffrey in 2018. Made for the sheer joy of it, they are exuberant explorations of form and pattern, boldly and expressively modelled.

The Flower Garden panels were modelled in clay – sketched out roughly with the hands, then carefully finished with small wood and metal modelling tools. Moulds were made and the finished pieces cast in plaster. In these pieces, Geoffrey has used the clay almost as a drawing medium. Shapes emerge from the background and recede back into it, as in nature. These are original, highly sculptural pieces with a lot of energy and movement. They are available in a limited edition of three pairs, each pair is cast to order and signed and numbered on the reverse. Each panel measures 120cm wide x 199cm high.

In both cases delivery is charged at cost – please ask us for a quote.  For international sales, VAT, tax and export charges may differ. Please ask for details.

Installation:  There are two options for hanging the panels. They can be surface mounted on metal brackets or fixed flush with the wall and made good. Please note the panels are moderately heavy – each weighing c. 80kg, and therefore a sturdy substrate is required to support them.
